Halloween.
Trick or Treat?
Who wants candy?
Haha. I never really tried that "trick or treat" thing even as a kid. I never experienced dressing up as a monster or as a ghost but I think that may be fun. I realized I could never escape the Halloween fever. :D
Ok. I probably suck at parties like that because I drink coffee too much. You know what I mean. Aside from that, no matter how hard I try to ignore the Halloween season, it always gives me the chills. Halloween specials on TV, Halloween costumes on the street, Halloween topics on the internet, Halloween everywhere! I just can't escape the season. :D
While watching TV, I hate the feeling when I saw a trailer of a scary movie, then I don't want to watch it but I just couldn't take my eyes off it. Uhrgh! Then, that scary ghost or whatever appears (with a scary loud sound effect), *GULAT* haha! Then I remember that ugly, scary face until I reach my bed.
I remember as a kid, I used to watch "Verum Est" (if I remember right) that was hosted by Raymond Bagatsing. It was so scary that I could not sleep at night so eventually I stopped watching it though it was one of my favorite shows.
I saw a news article that Halloween parties are banned in Catholic schools. I don't have any comment on that since I do not know all the rules of the Catholic Church regarding that. Maybe they don't want to see devils and other scary and demonic costumes lurking around their schools. I studied in Catholic Schools from Elementary to High School, they don't really stress Halloween parties and I have not seen any class during my time who celebrated this event. In college, they were not really that strict.
I have not yet decided where to go during All Souls Day. I might not visit in Loyola because I don't want to see my "other" relatives there. I don't want any more "chismis" to come up. Well, that's too bad if you have relatives like that. I might visit my grandparents after Undas.
Well, so much for that. Till next blog!
Happy Halloween!
